Yes, You Can Use Sketchbooks at the Elementary Level

Have you ever wanted to do sketchbooks with your elementary students but thought they were too young? Do you have questions about how to store sketchbooks for every student in your building? Are you looking for the perfect back-to-school lesson you can do with everyone? Then make sure to watch the video to learn how I handle sketchbooks in my elementary classroom.

One of the best things about sketchbooks is that they provide a great opportunity for classroom management. Students will learn that the beginning of class is set aside for quiet sketching. You’ll be amazed at how quiet their voices will become! Don’t be surprised if you even have a few students who don’t want sketchbook time to end because they love it so much.
