With this lesson, students are challenged to create a room as a small ceramic sculpture. Designing a room is one challenge, but to build it small (less than one square foot) is an even greater challenge. The details that are put into the sculpture make for an engaging and interesting project for artist and viewer alike. This lesson would be a perfect opportunity to tie in disciplines such as Interior Design, Furniture Design, and Architecture.
