How often do you stop and really notice the world around you? This lesson forces students to slow down and take note. Challenging them to create a detailed scene with an abandoned car at the center allows for students to practice both realistic and imaginative drawing. Students will focus on refining their drawing skills to bring these scenes to life.
You may consider showing students the sculptures by Jason deCaires Taylor in his underwater exhibition titled The Silent Evolution.
