See You at NAEA 2014!

AOE is gearing up for the NAEA (National Art Education Association’s) Conference in San Diego this weekend! If you are going, the following will help guide you to important events happening for AOE fans. We can’t wait to meet you! If you can’t attend (which I know most of you can’t) no worries – You can follow along with our adventures here on the “Live Feed from NAEA” right here on AOE. Read more about the excitement below!

Visit our Booth

Come see us at the AOE exhibitor’s booth! We will have some great swag to give away, a comfy place to sit and chill, and some fun interactive activities for you! We are booth 310.

AOE will be hosting an ‘Afterparty” for our readers at the Fox Sports Grill on Friday, March 28th from 7-9. This will be a fun networking event to have some drinks and apps ‘on us.’

Meet Your Favorite Bloggers!

AOE will be hosting an “Art Ed Blogger Meet and Greet” on Sunday, March 30th from 11:00-12:00 am at our exhibitor booth, 310. This will be an informal event where art ed bloggers will gather and have a chance for you to meet your favorites, ask questions, and connect in person. Some of the bloggers attending are:  Nic from Mini Matisse, Patty from Deep Space Sparkle, Ted from Art with Mr. E, Ian from Art of Apex High, our best dressed blogging buddy, Cassie Stephens, and Phyl from There’s a Dragon in my Art Room. Hope you can come chat!

Follow AOE’s “Live from NAEA Feed”

Just like last year, our writing team will be reporting from the trenches to bring you the sights and sounds of the conference, even if you can’t attend. This helps keep you in the loop and may even inspire you to attend in the future.

Myself and members of the AOE team will be presenting sessions each day of the conference. Come learn from us and ask questions! Here are the dates/times. You can learn more about this on our Speaking Page, too!
