Assessment As Advocacy Presentation Resources
As promised, for those of you who couldn’t attend my session “Assessment as Advocacy” on Saturday at the IA/NE Art Ed Conference, I would like to share my presentation resources and also link you to some of the additional assessment resources I referred to in my session. Click on the image below, or right here, to download my presentation converted into Power Point. (I used Keynote during my actual presentation)
Other Assessment Resources that I referred to in the presentation:
One day, while was bored on a Saturday afternoon (hahaha), I created this Ultimate Assessment PDF, which is a free download and links you to art assessments from around the nation.

Many of the examples I used came directly from the eBook: The Complete Guide to Simple Art Assessments, which you can purchase on our site for $9.
Looking for more ways to advocate for your program through the new assessments you are creating? I would highly suggest the class Advocating for the Arts, which will run for the first time in November. You will leave this class with a comprehensive Advocacy Toolkit to help you easily and seamlessly promote your art program all year round.
Please let me know if you have any questions, and thanks for attending!
