Why Vacations Make you More Creative
I recently found the article “Concentrate Then Stop Thinking” on Lifehacker and thought it was worth a share since many of us are on vacation this week.
The gist: Forcing creativity will only stifle it. The best ideas start to flow when you essentially “let go”.. which explains why so many of us have our best ideas while on vacation.
Any new ideas or motivations you’ve discovered over your holiday break? Anyone writing career goals for the new year? Any new lessons you are excited to start in January?
PS. A week left to sign up for the January online class “Creativity in Crisis” – starting on January 3rd! Can’t wait!
