Perfect Class for the New Year!
Anyone started thinking about the new year quite yet? It seems the busy holiday season takes over and we don’t think about what will happen come January 1st. Well, I have been busy preparing for our January AOE online class, Creativity in Crisis, and thinking about how motivational it will be to teach this course to start out the new year on the right foot.
One of my favorite assignments in this course gets our noses out of our text (Out of our Minds: Learning to be Creative, by Ken Robinson) and into some hands on learning. You will get to try out an exercise of your choice that is a proven creativity enhancer, and reflect and write about your experiences trying that strategy. What a fun way to earn a graduate credit, wouldn’t you say? Tomorrow, I thought I would walk you though one of the strategies that is proven to boost creativity so you can have a little preview of what it might be like to take the course.
Because I know the holidays cause us to stray from our normal routines, January is the perfect time to recharge with a class on creativity for the new year.
