Check Out These Reggio Inspired Sites!
I have a few links I would like to share with you. There are many blogs around that embrace the idea of Reggio as well as Montessori and Waldorf schools, which have similarities to Reggio. I find these blogs to be refreshing and interesting as a new way of looking at how our little ones learn and where they might be at when they come to us in Kindergarten. As with blogs in general it’s great to see the lessons reggio can teach us from a teacher or parent’s real life perspective, not just a research journal. Also as a new mom, I am also interested in learning about development of artistic and motor skills under the age of 5. I hope you enjoy these as much as I have. Add them to your Google Reader to stay up to date. I’ve added a new folder to my reader called “Artistic Parenting.”
Yo Yo Reggio – Follow this mother as she raises her kids in true Reggio fashion.
Modern Parents, Messy Kids – An award-winning blog featuring ways to be creative with your kids and help them grow and develop
Growing up Creative- Ideas to stay creative and innovative – Lots of great ideas here.
Teacher Tom – Male Preschool teacher who always has some great projects and philosophies to share with readers.
Color, Color, Color- Former art educator who now stays home with her kids and instills the love of art with them on a daily basis.
Enjoy the links and exploring their pages.
