Question Deck Download
I am still on an end of the year organizing and ideas kick from our marathon last week- So why not do another week of this topic?? I have lots more to share!
Whats on “Deck” for today? …. ahm, no pun intended….I developed this “Deck” of Power Point Slides called “Art Room Questions.” It’s a formative assessment tool I use while the students are standing in line. It has lists of generic questions you can ask students that provoke higher order thinking and can use any project or curriculum you are teaching. Sort of a “fill in the blank” format, if you will.
- Maybe you have an extra day at the end of the year and want to facilitate an art critique? It’s in the deck.
- Maybe you want kids to think about and talk about their art? It’s in the deck.
- Maybe you want to review concepts taught throughout the whole year with the kiddos? It’s in the deck.
- Maybe you want to inspire creativity before summer sets in? It’s in the deck.
Here are a few samples from the deck:
Like it? Download the entire thing right here: Art RoomQuestions I simply printed the slides in outline form, hole punched and put in a ring. Then, it goes in the bin by my door for easy grabbing whenever I need it. You can customize to fit your preferences. ENJOY!
Like learning about and developing new assessments like this one? Take my Assessment in Art Education course this summer online and develop assessments like this for YOUR classroom and the lessons that YOU teach. Not one size fits all learning!!
